Objectives:
1. Produce sequential and parallel iterations to test options.
2. Address differing and sometimes contradictory requirements in architectural space.
3. Explore relationships of positive and negative elements in the formation of architecture.
4. Work with transformations across dimensional environments.

Procedure:
1. Begin with a rectangle 7” wide x 2” tall.
2. Make six additions and subtractions using rectangular, orthogonal shapes to alter both the perimeter (shape) and interior (surface) of the rectangle.
3. Vary the initial profile four more times in sequence, altering the subtractions and additions each time.
