72 Market Street, Los Angeles, CA
Walter Gropius of Bauhaus inspired the project, which consists of two floors, the bathhouse with an open-air pool, and indoor pools and saunas for different functions. The core in the middle continues the meaning of centrifugal space, which is formed by spreading the space from the center to the sides. Secondly, the ramp on the left side considers ADA regulations and provides easy access to the second floor. The open-air bath pool enjoys a cozy view of the outdoors, while the pools with different functions are located on the second floor. There are restrooms in the basement and on the first floor for the convenience of the customers, and customers can also access the ramp in the basement on the first floor. The main goal is to let customers experience the space of the bathhouse better and have a comfortable space experience.
